Rubber waterstop belts can be classified in the following ways

  • By material:

    • Natural rubber waterstop belt: It is made of natural rubber and is suitable for fresh - water anti - seepage projects. Its applicable temperature range is - 40℃ - 60℃.

    • Chloroprene rubber waterstop belt: Made of chloroprene rubber, it is suitable for anti - seepage projects of sewage containing acid, alkali, etc. The applicable temperature is - 35℃ - 60℃.

    • Ethylene - propylene - diene - monomer (EPDM) rubber waterstop belt: It has good weather resistance, ozone resistance and chemical resistance. It is suitable for various harsh environments, and its applicable temperature range is relatively wide, generally - 40℃ - 60℃.

  • By model:

    • CB - type rubber waterstop belt: It is a buried - type waterstop belt with a hole in the middle. It is mainly used in the deformation joints of underground engineering structures such as basements and tunnels.

    • CP - type rubber waterstop belt: It is a buried - type waterstop belt without a hole in the middle. It is often used in construction joints and settlement joints where the waterproofing requirements are high.

    • EB - type rubber waterstop belt: It is an external - sticking type waterstop belt with a hole in the middle. It is usually pasted on the outer surface of the concrete structure to play a role in waterproofing and seepage prevention.

    • EP - type rubber waterstop belt: It is an external - sticking type waterstop belt without a hole in the middle. It is suitable for some structures where the deformation is small and the waterproofing requirements are not particularly high.

  • By use case:

    • Buried rubber waterstop belt: It is embedded in the concrete structure and is mainly used to prevent water seepage at the joints of concrete structures.

    • Back - sticking rubber waterstop belt: It is pasted on the back of the concrete structure, that is, the outer surface of the structure in contact with water. It is used to prevent water from entering the structure.

    • Steel - edged rubber waterstop belt: It has steel plates on both sides of the rubber waterstop belt, which can improve the strength and stability of the waterstop belt and is suitable for some structures with high water pressure.

    • Water - swelling rubber waterstop belt: It can swell when it comes into contact with water, thereby filling the gaps and cracks in the structure and enhancing the waterproof effect.

    • Flat - plate waterstop belt: The structure is relatively simple, which is a flat - plate - shaped rubber belt, and is often used in some simple waterproofing occasions.
